- Medical English: Spelling
|English for Nursing and Healthcare||
I was listening to the radio this morning and heard a report about the MMR vaccine. For a long time there has been conjecture whether children given the vaccine have a greater risk of developing autism. I have used the BBC Health website article to develop a resource for EMP teachers and learners. I developed vocabulary activities around the headword 'injection'. Health articles are useful for extension work and the review of medical terms. I have place the resource in the 'Medical Terminology' section of Online courses on this website. I welcome your thoughts - how effective do you think the resource would be for an EMP course? Would you add anything else e.g a labelling activity of a syringe and needle.?
